We're Hiring: AccountantIndustry: EntertainmentLocation: Dubai, UAESalary: AED 7,000 – 10,000 per monthAbout the RoleOur client, a growing company within the entertainment industry, is looking to hire an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join their team in Dubai.The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, managing financial transactions, and supporting the company's overall financial operations.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and general ledger entries.Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and financial summaries.Handle bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.Process supplier invoices, payments, expense claims, and customer receipts.Monitor operational and project-related expenses against approved budgets.Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.Support month-end and year-end closing activities.Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and relevant financial requirements.Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and external auditors.Maintain accurate financial documentation and implement effective accounting controls.Requirements & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.Experience within the entertainment, events, media, hospitality, or related industries is preferred.Good knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting practices.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, accounts payable, and receivable.Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.Salary & BenefitsAED 7,000 – 10,000 per month, depending on experience.
