We're Hiring | Consultant Family Medicine📍 Location: Abu Dhabi💼 Employment Type: Full-TimeA leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Consultant Family Medicine with a recognized Western Board certification to join its multidisciplinary medical team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive primary and continuing care to patients across different age groups, with a strong focus on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and evidence-based family healthcare.Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive family medicine consultations and ongoing patient careAssess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditionsProvide preventive healthcare, health screening, and lifestyle counsellingManage patients with common chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, and respiratory disordersCoordinate referrals to specialists and ensure continuity of carePerform appropriate clinical procedures within the scope of training and privilegesMaintain accurate and timely medical recordsParticipate in multidisciplinary case discussions and care planningSupport clinical quality, patient safety, and evidence-based practice initiativesProvide health education and counselling to patients and familiesParticipate in continuing medical education and professional development activitiesRequirementsQualificationsMedical degree from an accredited institutionRecognized postgraduate qualification in Family MedicineWestern Board certification in Family Medicine or an equivalent recognized qualificationEligibility for or a valid DOH Abu Dhabi Consultant licenceRelevant clinical experience appropriate for Consultant-level practiceCurrent Good Standing Certificate and verifiable professional credentialsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare teamBenefitsCompetitive salary and benefits package, subject to the hospital's assessment and experienceProfessional opportunity with an established healthcare provider in Abu DhabiMultidisciplinary working environmentModern clinical facilities and support servicesOpportunities for professional development and career progression
