MetallurgistRole PurposeProvide metallurgical expertise and technical leadership for aerospace engine component manufacturing, ensuring material integrity, compliance, and performance of forged and ring-rolled components manufactured from Nickel, Titanium, Steel, and Aluminium alloys.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide metallurgical support for forging, ring rolling, heat treatment, machining, and finishing processes.Define and validate material processing parameters according to aerospace standards and OEM requirements.Support development, qualification, industrialisation, and production of new manufacturing methods and materials.Define, review, and approve material specifications, heat treatment cycles, and material conditions.Support commissioning, qualification, and requalification of heat treatment processes.Support FPQ, FAI, and process/facility readiness activities.Lead/support metallurgical investigations, failure analysis, and root-cause investigations.Support audits and ensure compliance with aerospace quality requirements.Drive improvements in material performance, yield, and process robustness.Required Experience & Qualifications8–10 years of experience in metallurgy or materials engineering.Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Materials Engineering, or equivalent.Strong knowledge of:Aerospace-grade Nickel, Titanium, Steel, and Aluminium alloys.Forging and ring-rolling metallurgy.Heat treatment processes and controls.Mechanical testing and metallurgical inspection.Engineering drawings, material specifications, and OEM standards.Aerospace qualification/documentation requirements.AS13100.Location: UAE
