Ready to kick-start your commercial career in the world of project logistics?Roll Group is growing its commercial team across the Middle East, and we are looking for Junior Commercial Managers, with one opportunity in each of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman.If you are at the beginning of your commercial career and ready to gain hands-on experience in business development, client relationships and complex transport and heavy lift projects, this could be the opportunity for you.Your roleAs a Junior Commercial Manager, you will be part of our commercial team and gain hands-on experience across the full commercial cycle.You will build relationships with clients, identify and develop new business opportunities, contribute to quotations and tenders, and work closely with experienced colleagues across Commercial, Operations, Engineering and other teams.You will have the opportunity to learn the business, understand your local market and gradually take on greater commercial responsibility as your experience develops.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients.Identify and pursue new commercial opportunities within your assigned market.Participate in client meetings and follow up on leads and opportunities.Support business development activities and contribute to growing the local commercial pipeline.Develop and maintain project target lists and keep Roll Group’s CRM system up to date.Support the preparation of pre-qualifications, transport calculations, quotations, offers and tender documents.Work closely with Operations, Engineering and other departments to develop suitable solutions for clients.Support commercial and contractual discussions together with experienced colleagues and relevant internal teams.Follow up on awarded projects and support an effective handover to Operations.Develop a strong understanding of the local market, client requirements and competitor activities.Represent Roll Group professionally during client visits, meetings and industry events.Your qualificationsWe are looking for someone who is commercially minded, curious, proactive and eager to learn. You enjoy meeting people, building relationships and spotting opportunities, and you are ready to develop your career in an international project environment.You bring:A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, logistics, engineering or a related field.Early-career experience or exposure to sales, commercial activities, logistics, transport, shipping or another project-driven environment.A genuine interest in sales and business development.Strong communication and relationship-building skills.Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Additional languages are an advantage.A valid driving licence, as the role involves client visits and commercial activities.A proactive, energetic and results-oriented mindset.An interest in developing both commercial and technical knowledge.Previous exposure to project logistics or the Middle East market is an advantage.What we offerA challenging and varied full-time role in a growing international company where you can learn, develop and build your commercial career.You will work alongside experienced colleagues, meet clients, gain exposure to complex transport and heavy lift projects, and gradually take on broader commercial responsibilities as you develop.We offer a competitive salary based on knowledge and experience, a five-day working week and 24 days of annual leave, excluding public holidays.Our selection processThe recruitment process will include two face-to-face interviews, which may take place back-to-back.
