suppliers to customers.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Logistics Planner to lead logistics planning, network coordination, shipment scheduling, inventory movements, capacity planning, supplier and carrier coordination, and logistics performance management.The ideal candidate will analyze demand, inventory, supply availability, transportation capacity, warehouse constraints, customer requirements, and logistics costs to develop practical plans that improve service reliability, operational efficiency, and supply-chain resilience.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement logistics planning strategies aligned with supply-chain and business objectives.Lead daily, weekly, and longer-term logistics planning activities across assigned markets, facilities, suppliers, and customers.Analyze demand forecasts, customer orders, inventory positions, supplier commitments, warehouse capacity, and transportation requirements.Develop integrated logistics plans covering inbound, outbound, inter-facility, and reverse-logistics activities.Coordinate inbound shipments from suppliers, manufacturers, ports, consolidation points, and other origins.Coordinate outbound shipments from warehouses and distribution centers to customers, stores, projects, or other destinations.Plan inventory transfers between warehouses, distribution centers, stores, markets, and operating locations.Develop shipment schedules based on demand, inventory availability, delivery requirements, transportation capacity, and warehouse constraints.Coordinate logistics requirements with Procurement, Demand Planning, Inventory Planning, Warehousing, Transportation, Sales, Customer Service, and Finance.Align logistics plans with production, purchasing, receiving, picking, packing, staging, loading, and delivery schedules.Monitor supplier readiness, order status, production completion, shipment availability, and estimated delivery dates.Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers to confirm shipment dates, quantities, documentation, and transportation arrangements.Monitor inbound and outbound shipment schedules and identify potential delays before they affect operations.Develop contingency plans for supplier delays, transportation disruptions, port congestion, capacity shortages, weather events, and other supply-chain risks.Re-plan logistics activities when demand, supply, inventory, capacity, or operational conditions change.Coordinate urgent, priority, time-sensitive, and exceptional shipments.Optimize shipment consolidation, container utilization, vehicle utilization, and freight movements.Evaluate opportunities for consolidation, cross-docking, direct shipment, milk runs, backhauls, and alternative logistics routes.Optimize logistics flows to reduce unnecessary handling, storage, transportation, waiting time, and operating costs.Analyze warehouse capacity and coordinate inbound and outbound volumes to avoid congestion.Coordinate appointment schedules for receiving, loading, unloading, and deliveries.Monitor inventory availability and identify logistics constraints that may cause stockouts, excess inventory, or service failures.Coordinate with Inventory Planning teams to ensure inventory movements support target stock levels and customer requirements.Support inventory allocation and replenishment decisions by providing logistics capacity and lead-time information.Monitor logistics lead times across suppliers, warehouses, transportation providers, and customers.Analyze actual logistics lead times against planned lead times and identify recurring deviations.Develop logistics capacity forecasts based on demand, inventory, supplier volumes, network changes, and business growth.Assess future requirements for warehouse space, transportation capacity, handling resources, carriers, containers, and logistics services.Develop logistics scenarios to evaluate alternative network, inventory, transportation, and fulfillment strategies.Prepare logistics business cases covering capacity, cost, service levels, lead times, and operational requirements.Support logistics network design, distribution-center planning, warehouse changes, and supply-chain transformation initiatives.Analyze logistics costs including freight, warehousing, handling, storage, demurrage, detention, duties, accessorial charges, and other related expenses.Identify opportunities to reduce logistics costs while maintaining required service levels.Monitor logistics budgets, forecasts, commitments, and actual expenditure.Support procurement and sourcing activities through logistics-cost analysis, lane analysis, supplier requirements, and logistics specifications.Participate in carrier and logistics-provider selection, tendering, rate analysis, and commercial evaluations.Monitor third-party logistics providers against agreed service levels, costs, capacity, and operational requirements.Review logistics-provider performance and coordinate corrective actions where required.Maintain accurate logistics master data covering suppliers, customers, facilities, lanes, routes, lead times, shipment requirements, and service parameters.Ensure logistics plans and shipment information are accurately maintained in ERP, TMS, WMS, planning, and supply-chain systems.Monitor shipment status using transportation-management, warehouse-management, GPS, tracking, and logistics platforms.Maintain accurate shipment milestones from order release through delivery and receipt.Monitor customs, import, export, shipping, and logistics documentation requirements where applicable.Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, shipping agents, carriers, and other logistics service providers.Track international shipments, ports, terminals, vessels, containers, air freight, road freight, and other transportation modes as applicable.Identify risks associated with international logistics, customs delays, documentation errors, and border restrictions.Coordinate logistics activities for new product launches, new suppliers, new customers, new facilities, and
