ArchitectAbout the Role Ohana Development is looking for an Architect to join our design team. This role is ideal for someone who can carry a project from concept design through to detailed and execution drawings, ensuring design intent is maintained while meeting technical, regulatory, and construction requirements.You will play a key role in shaping high-quality developments, with a strong focus on buildability, coordination, and documentation excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and contribute to concept design development through to detailed design and IFC (Issued for Construction) drawingsProduce and review high-quality architectural drawings, details, and specificationsEnsure alignment between design intent and execution on siteCoordinate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors (MEP, structural, etc.)Develop technical solutions and construction details for complex design challengesEnsure compliance with local regulations, codes, and authority requirements (UAE)Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and technical workshopsSupport site team with design clarifications and drawing updates during constructionMaintain documentation standards and version controlRequirementsApproximately 8–12 years of professional experience in architectural design and project delivery.Proven experience in delivering projects from concept design through detailed design, IFC, and construction.Strong experience in residential, hospitality, mixed-use, or high-end developments is preferred.Strong knowledge of UAE building regulations, authority requirements, and construction practices.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and relevant architectural/design software.Strong technical documentation, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.Preferred QualificationsUAE/GCC project experienceExperience working with developers, consultants, or design studiosFamiliarity with BIM standards and project coordination workflowsMembership in recognized bodies such as RIBA or AIA
