The ultimate goal is to improve people’s quality of life through better healthcare access and outcomes.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Medical Coder role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The Medical Coder is responsible for reviewing clinical documentation and assigning accurate medical codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services in accordance with regulatory guidelines and payer requirements. Day-to-day tasks include validating coding accuracy, ensuring proper use of medical terminology, supporting billing and reimbursement processes, and collaborating with healthcare providers to clarify documentation when necessary. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of coding standards and compliance regulations, contributing to efficient revenue cycle management, and supporting quality assurance initiatives.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Medical Coding and Coding Experience with proven accuracy and attention to detail.Candidates should possess knowledge of Medical Terminology to interpret clinical documentation effectively.Candidates should possess Health Information Management expertise to support compliant recordkeeping and billing processes.Candidates should possess RHIT or similar credential, or equivalent professional experience in medical coding and health information.Candidates should possess familiarity with relevant coding systems (e.g., ICD, CPT, HCPCS) and payer guidelines.Candidates should possess strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a clinical setting.Candidates should possess proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic office software.Relevant diploma or degree in Health Information Management, Medical Coding, or a related healthcare field is preferred.
