We're Hiring: Accountant | Abu Dhabi, UAEAre you a detail-oriented accounting professional who takes pride in accurate numbers and clean books? Join us as an Accountant and play an important role in keeping our financial records reliable, compliant, and up to date.What you'll do:Maintain ledgers and prepare asset, liability, and capital account entriesRecord and process financial transactions accurately and on time, in line with company proceduresReview accounts payable requests for validity and proper approvals, then process payments and update recordsPerform account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet accounts, and resolve any discrepanciesInvestigate and correct errors in financial data so that reports can be relied onLiaise with vendors and resolve invoice queries and discrepanciesAudit supporting documents to substantiate transactionsBack up financial data to keep it secureSupport the Senior Accountant with compliance and the implementation of financial policiesAssist with other accounting and procurement-related activities as requiredWhat we're looking forBachelor's degree in Finance (a professional accounting qualification is an advantage)Minimum 2 years of experience as an AccountantStrong attention to detail and a solid understanding of accounting principlesWhat's in it for youCompetitive payAnnual performance-based bonusComplimentary company lunchWork-life balance: 5-day work week, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PMFazaa card
