Team members collaborate in a diverse, international environment that values creativity, technical excellence, and high-quality audience experiences.Role Description The Senior Video Editor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi. This role is responsible for leading the editing of long-form and short-form content, shaping narrative structure, pacing, and visual style in line with project goals and brand guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include assembling raw footage, selecting key shots, applying transitions, integrating motion graphics and titles, and performing color correction and grading to ensure a cohesive visual identity. The Senior Video Editor will collaborate closely with directors, producers, and graphic designers, provide creative input during pre-production and post-production, and ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard. The role also involves maintaining organized project files, optimizing workflows, mentoring junior editors, and staying current with industry trends and editing techniques.Qualifications Strong proficiency in core Video Editing tools and techniques, including non-linear editing software and narrative editing for various formats.Demonstrated experience in Video Production processes, from pre-production planning to post-production delivery, with an understanding of on-site live and studio environments.Advanced skills in Video Color Grading, with the ability to create consistent looks, manage color workflows, and enhance visual storytelling.Capability in Motion Graphics and Graphics integration, including titles, lower thirds, and simple visual effects that support the overall narrative.Proven experience in a senior or lead editing role within a production house, broadcast, or agency environment.Excellent visual storytelling skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines on multiple projects.Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback and support cross-functional teams.Familiarity with editing and delivery standards for digital platforms and broadcast, including aspect ratios, codecs, and export specifications.Experience with sports, entertainment, or live event content is highly beneficial.Relevant degree or diploma in Film, Media Production, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
