Company Description TradeX Protocol is a technology-driven trading firm specializing in systematic strategies across global financial markets. TradeX Protocol offers a dynamic environment for professionals who are passionate about markets, data, and innovation.Role Description This is a full-time Senior Trader role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows for both in-office and work-from-home days. The Senior Trader will manage and execute systematic and discretionary trading strategies across multiple asset classes, including gold, FX, and digital assets. Responsibilities include monitoring market conditions, optimizing trade execution, managing risk exposures, and collaborating with quantitative researchers and technologists to enhance strategies and tools. The role involves reviewing performance metrics, adjusting positions in line with risk limits, and contributing to the development of new trading ideas and processes. The Senior Trader will also help ensure regulatory and internal compliance while supporting continuous improvement in trading workflows.Qualifications Strong expertise in trading global markets, with experience in gold, foreign exchange, and digital assets.Proficiency in quantitative analysis, data interpretation, and performance evaluation of trading strategies.Demonstrated ability in risk management, including position sizing, drawdown control, and adherence to risk limits.Familiarity with electronic trading platforms, automated execution systems, and market microstructure.Comfort working with technology and tools commonly used in trading (e.g., Python, SQL, Excel or similar analytics environments).Excellent decision-making, situational awareness, and the ability to perform under time-sensitive market conditions.Clear, concise communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with research, technology, and operations teams.Relevant academic background in finance, economics, engineering, mathematics, computer science, or a related field.Prior experience in a proprietary trading firm, hedge fund, or similar institutional trading environment is highly beneficial.Commitment to ethical trading practices and compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
