The company values professionalism, quality workmanship, and long-term client relationships.Role Description The Electrical Estimation Engineer (LV Switchgear) is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi. The role involves preparing detailed cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for LV switchgear projects, reviewing tender documents, and analyzing drawings and specifications. The engineer will evaluate technical requirements, select appropriate LV switchgear components, and coordinate with design, procurement, and sales teams to ensure accurate and competitive proposals. Daily tasks include obtaining and comparing supplier quotations, conducting cost analysis, and supporting negotiations with clients and vendors. The role also includes preparing technical and commercial offers, updating estimation databases, and collaborating with project teams to align estimates with actual project execution.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong BOQ preparation and project estimation skills for LV switchgear and related electrical systems.Candidates should possess applied Civil Engineering knowledge to understand project interfaces, site conditions, and construction-related constraints.Candidates should possess effective negotiation skills for coordinating with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients on pricing and terms.Candidates should possess solid research skills to gather technical data, market prices, and specification details for accurate estimations.Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline) and experience with LV switchgear design or estimation are highly beneficial.Proficiency in estimation software, MS Excel, and reading electrical schematics and single-line diagrams is advantageous.Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication in English are important for success in this role.Prior experience in UAE or GCC projects and familiarity with local standards and regulations is considered a plus.
