Location: UAEReports to: Head Mixologist / Bar Manager (AGM)Department: Beverage OperationsEmployment Type: Full-timeRole OverviewThe Barback supports bar operations by ensuring bartenders have the tools, stock, and setup required to deliver fast and efficient service. This role is essential to maintaining bar flow, cleanliness, and service readiness during busy periods.Key ResponsibilitiesBar Support & PreparationRestock bar stations with spirits, mixers, garnishes, ice, and glasswareEnsure bar areas are fully prepared before serviceSupport bartenders during peak periods to maintain service speedCleanliness & OrganisationMaintain cleanliness of bar stations, storage areas, and back barWash, polish, and restock glassware as requiredManage waste and recycling in line with standardsStock & DeliveriesAssist with receiving, storing, and rotating bar stockSupport stock counts and inventory checksReport shortages or issues to senior bar staffStandards & DisciplineFollow hygiene, safety, and service proceduresMaintain professional appearance and conductSupport opening and closing dutiesKPIs & Success MetricsBar readiness and service support efficiencyCleanliness and organization of bar areasStock availability and accuracyTeamwork and reliabilityCandidate RequirementsPrevious bar or hospitality experience preferred but not essentialStrong work ethic and attention to detail.Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to learn and progress within bar operations
