Its projects reflect a dedication to crafting exceptional living and working environments for diverse communities in the region.Role Description The Quantity Surveyor manages the pre-contract and post-contract commercial activities of construction projects, covering cost control, measurement, procurement, contract administration, payment certification, variations, and financial reporting to keep projects within budget and contractual requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesReview tender documents, prepare and review BOQs, take off quantities, and prepare cost estimates and tender pricingIssue RFPs, evaluate quotations, and identify cost-saving and value engineering opportunitiesAdminister main contracts, subcontracts, and supplier orders; monitor costs against budget and prepare cash-flow forecastsAssess variations, change orders, and EOT claimsReview interim payment applications, verify progress through site visits, and prepare payment certificatesCarry out site measurements and verify works against approved drawings; coordinate with site engineers and project managersMaintain variation and claims registers and support final account settlementRequirementsBachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field5-7 years of experience in Quantity Surveying or a commercial role in construction, including site-based QS work; UAE experience is an advantageStrong knowledge of BOQs, valuations, variations, and cost control; proficient in MS Excel; strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders while working independently
