Daikan Izakaya, Yas Bay Abu Dhabi a premier destination for Japanese cuisine, is seeking a motivated and efficient Food Runner to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will ensure that food is delivered promptly and accurately to guests, contributing to a seamless dining experience.ResponsibilitiesFood Delivery: Quickly and accurately deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the designated tables while ensuring the correct order and presentation.Communication: Collaborate closely with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate food orders and communicate any special requests or allergies.Table Maintenance: Assist in clearing and resetting tables as needed, ensuring a clean and inviting dining environment.Guest Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by checking on guests and ensuring their satisfaction with their meals.Organization: Keep the food pickup area organized and clean, and ensure that all necessary supplies are readily available.Sanitation Standards: Adhere to all health and safety regulations concerning food handling and cleanliness.RequirementsPrevious experience in a food service role, either as a food runner, server, or similar position.Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality service.Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
