The platform is designed for leaders in sectors like financial services, supply chain, retail, healthcare, insurance, human resources, legal, and IT who seek to accelerate processes, improve accuracy, and maintain a competitive edge through intelligent automation.Role Description The AI Robotics Engineer, Vision-Language-Action (VLA) role is a full-time remote position responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing VLA models for robotic systems within Cruq AI’s agent platform. Day-to-day work includes developing perception pipelines that integrate computer vision with language understanding, building action planning modules, and connecting these components to real or simulated robotic environments. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business workflows into robotic and agentic automation, integrating models into production systems, and ensuring robustness, safety, and scalability. The engineer will prototype new capabilities, conduct experiments, analyze performance metrics, and iterate on models and control policies to achieve reliable, human-level task completion. Documentation, code reviews, and clear communication with product, operations, and customer-facing teams are also important aspects of this position.QualificationsRobotics and Vision-Language-Action expertise, including experience with robotic control, perception, planning, and integration of vision and language models.Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities for designing experiments, evaluating system performance, and optimizing complex automation workflows.Process automation experience, preferably in AI-driven or robotics-based environments, with a focus on building scalable, reliable end-to-end solutions.Effective communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, explaining technical concepts, and documenting designs and results clearly.Software development proficiency, including Python or similar languages, familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow), and good software engineering practices.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience is also valued.Experience with reinforcement learning, simulation environments (e.g., ROS, Gazebo, Isaac), or multi-agent systems is highly beneficial.Background in deploying AI models to production, working with cloud platforms.
