Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced Gaming & IT Technical Manager to lead and oversee the gaming, IT, drone, and recreational technology operations within an exclusive private property serving a VVIP client and their guests.This is a leadership role requiring a combination of strong technical expertise, team management, operational planning, and exceptional service delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a dedicated team, overseeing daily activities, maintaining technical systems and equipment, and ensuring that all recreational technology and experiences are delivered to the highest standards.The successful candidate must demonstrate strong leadership, proactive planning, discretion, and the ability to anticipate the needs of the client and household.Key Responsibilities:1. Team Leadership & ManagementLead, manage, and supervise the gaming, IT, drone, and recreational technology team.Allocate daily responsibilities, establish priorities, and ensure all tasks are completed to the required standards.Develop work schedules, coordinate team coverage, and ensure adequate staffing for daily operations and special activities.Monitor team performance, productivity, technical standards, and service delivery.Establish clear procedures, reporting lines, and accountability across the team.Address performance issues and operational challenges promptly and professionally.Ensure team members comply with property procedures, safety requirements, confidentiality obligations, and VVIP service standards.2. Gaming Systems & IT Technical ManagementOversee the operation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of gaming PCs, consoles, peripherals, accessories, and associated IT infrastructure.Ensure all systems are properly configured, updated, tested, and ready for use.Supervise troubleshooting and resolution of hardware, software, networking, and performance-related issues.Maintain appropriate standards for system security, software licensing, updates, and equipment configuration.Provide technical guidance to the team and take ownership of complex technical problems when escalation is required.Evaluate new technologies and recommend appropriate upgrades based on client preferences and operational requirements.3. Drone Technology & Equipment ManagementOversee the maintenance, readiness, and operation of drone systems and associated equipment.Ensure routine inspections, servicing, firmware updates, battery management, and preventative maintenance are completed.Ensure team members follow applicable safety procedures and local drone regulations.Coordinate drone-related recreational activities and ensure equipment and personnel are adequately prepared.4. Recreational Activity Planning & DeliveryLead the planning and coordination of gaming, drone, and technology-based recreational experiences for the private client and their guests.Develop activity plans and operational scenarios tailored to client preferences, special occasions, and guest requirements.5. Asset Management & Inventory ControlOversee inventory management for all gaming equipment, computers, drones, accessories, peripherals, and related technology.Establish and enforce equipment check-in/check-out procedures and condition-reporting processes.Ensure accurate asset registers, maintenance records, warranty information, and equipment allocation records are maintained.Delegate inventory checks and verify that the team's records are accurate and up to date.Monitor equipment condition, usage, storage, and replacement requirements.6. Preventative Maintenance & Operational ReliabilityDevelop and oversee preventative maintenance schedules for all gaming systems, computers, drones, and associated equipment.Ensure team members complete routine inspections, servicing, cleaning, updates, and testing according to established procedures.Monitor equipment performance and address potential issues before they affect operational readiness.Coordinate specialist repairs, external suppliers, and technical service providers where required.7. Reporting & Continuous ImprovementProvide regular operational updates to household management or the designated reporting manager.Report on team performance, equipment condition, maintenance activities, incidents, and outstanding requirements.Identify opportunities to improve processes, technical performance, staffing efficiency, and service quality.Recommend equipment purchases, upgrades, and resource requirements based on operational needs.Ensure appropriate documentation and reporting procedures are followed consistently.Candidate Requirements:Proven experience managing a technical team within IT, gaming technology, technical operations, entertainment technology, or a related environment.Strong practical knowledge of gaming PCs, consoles, hardware, peripherals, and IT systems.Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, schedule, and develop team members.Experience overseeing technical troubleshooting, maintenance, and operational support.Knowledge of drone systems and associated equipment; practical operating experience is an advantage.Experience in inventory control, asset management, preventative maintenance, and technical reporting.Strong organisational, planning, delegation, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of operational readiness.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A proactive and accountable leadership style, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.High levels of discretion, integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.Flexibility to meet the operational requirements of a private VVIP household.
