Chief of Staff / Strategy & AI Associate Abu Dhabi | Leading Global Investment FirmWe are hiring an exceptional Chief of Staff / Strategy & AI Associate to join a leading Abu Dhabi-based investment platform operating across venture capital, private equity, private credit and real assets.This is a highly entrepreneurial role for someone who is extremely smart, commercially minded, technology-native and genuinely advanced in the use of AI. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership across strategic initiatives, investment-related projects, internal operations and special situations.The firm has approximately $1.5bn in assets under management and 100+ portfolio companies, with an increasing focus on artificial intelligence and frontier technologies. Its AI strategy includes a $200m global AI investment platform, with exposure to areas including agentic AI, reasoning systems, enterprise AI infrastructure, robotics and sovereign AI.The RoleThe position could be titled Chief of Staff, Strategy Associate, or Strategy & AI Associate, depending on the experience of the successful candidate.You will act as a highly versatile resource to senior leadership, working across:Strategic projects and special initiatives across the investment platformSupporting senior leadership with research, analysis and decision-makingPreparing high-quality presentations, investment materials, strategic papers and internal analysesDriving cross-functional projects from initial concept through executionConducting market, company and competitive analysisSupporting selected investment, portfolio and value-creation initiativesImproving internal processes and identifying opportunities for greater automation and efficiencyUsing AI tools extensively to accelerate research, analysis, workflow automation, knowledge management and decision-makingEvaluating new AI tools, platforms and workflows that could improve the firm's productivityWorking across investment, strategy, operations and portfolio teams as requiredCandidate ProfileWe are deliberately keeping the background broad and will prioritise intellectual calibre, judgement and execution ability over a particular career path.Candidates could come from:Top-tier strategy consultingInvestment banking / investingHigh-growth technology companiesVenture capital or technology investingFounder / entrepreneurial backgroundsStrategy, CEO Office or Chief of Staff positionsWe are looking for someone who is:Exceptionally bright, analytical and intellectually curiousCommercially sophisticated with excellent judgementAble to understand complex topics extremely quicklyHighly structured, but equally comfortable operating with ambiguityEntrepreneurial and willing to take ownership rather than wait for instructionsAn outstanding communicator with very strong written and presentation skillsComfortable interacting directly with Partners, founders and senior executivesVery technologically savvyA genuine power user of AI, rather than someone who occasionally uses ChatGPTAI & TechnologyWe would expect candidates to already be using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, AI coding/automation tools, agents or workflow platforms extensively in their day-to-day work.The ideal candidate should instinctively think:“How can AI make this research, analysis, workflow or decision 5–10x faster or better?”Coding experience is not essential, but the ability to understand technology, experiment with new tools and build AI-enabled workflows would be highly attractive.Abu Dhabi, UAECandidates must either already be based in Abu Dhabi/UAE or be genuinely willing to relocate and work from Abu Dhabi.CompensationUp to approximately AED 20,000 per month, depending on experience.Given the compensation level, we are particularly interested in high-potential candidates relatively early in their careers who demonstrate unusually strong intellectual ability, maturity and technological sophistication.This is not a traditional administrative Chief of Staff position. It is designed for someone who wants to sit close to senior decision-makers, work across a rapidly developing investment platform and use technology and AI as a core part of how they operate.
