Role DescriptionAn Architect is responsible for developing architectural designs, technical drawings, and practical design solutions while coordinating with clients, consultants, engineers, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop architectural concepts, layouts, plans, elevations, and details.Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.Translate client requirements into practical architectural solutions.Coordinate architectural designs with structural, civil, and MEP disciplines.Conduct site visits, inspections, and design assessments.Review shop drawings, materials, and technical submissions.Ensure designs comply with building codes and applicable regulations.Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and authorities.Identify and resolve design conflicts and technical issues.Monitor construction work against approved designs and drawings.Support RFIs, design changes, variations, and site-related matters.Assist with authority submissions, permits, and approvals.Prepare design presentations, reports, and project documentation.Support value engineering and cost-effective design solutions.Ensure design quality, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.Relevant experience in architectural design, construction, or consultancy.Strong knowledge of architectural principles, materials, and detailing.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar design software.Experience preparing technical and construction drawings.Good understanding of building codes and authority requirements.Strong multidisciplinary coordination skills.Excellent creative, technical, and problem-solving abilities.Strong attention to detail and design accuracy.Good communication and presentation skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and documentation tools.UAE/GCC architectural experience is advantageous.Professional, organized, reliable, and proactive approach.
