We are seeking a qualified and experienced Neonatologist to provide specialized medical care to newborn infants, particularly premature babies and those with critical medical conditions. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating neonatal illnesses, managing high-risk newborns, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide specialized medical care for premature, low-birth-weight, and critically ill newborns.Assess, diagnose, and manage neonatal conditions, including respiratory distress, infections, congenital abnormalities, and birth-related complications.Manage and monitor newborns admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).Perform neonatal resuscitation and stabilize newborns requiring emergency medical intervention.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each infant’s clinical condition.Monitor vital signs, growth, development, and response to treatment.Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.Counsel parents and families regarding the newborn’s medical condition, treatment options, and prognosis.Maintain accurate medical records, clinical reports, and discharge summaries.Follow hospital policies, infection-control procedures, and neonatal care protocols.Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, and continuous medical education activities.Provide guidance and supervision to junior doctors and other medical staff when required.Qualifications and RequirementsMedical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.Postgraduate qualification or specialist training in Neonatology, as required by the relevant licensing authority.Valid professional license or eligibility for licensing with the relevant UAE health authority — DHA, DOH, or MOHAP, as applicable.Relevant clinical experience in neonatology and NICU management.Strong knowledge of neonatal resuscitation, intensive care, and evidence-based neonatal practices.Excellent communication, clinical decision-making, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and manage emergency situations.Preferred SkillsExperience managing high-risk pregnancies and critically ill newborns in coordination with obstetric teams.Proficiency in neonatal ventilation, respiratory support, and advanced neonatal life support.Strong parental counseling and patient-care skills.Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and continuous professional development.How to ApplyInterested and qualified candidates are invited to share their updated CV with We Staffed.
