As a Steward, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of our kitchen and dining facilities. This position is essential to our operations, ensuring that our guests and staff enjoy a clean, safe, and well-organized environment. If you're someone who takes pride in your work and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced setting, we'd love to hear from you!Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment using both manual and machine-based methods while adhering to food safety standardsPerform comprehensive cleaning of kitchen facilities, dining areas, pantries, and all food service zones, including equipment and circulation areasCollect, sort, and organize waste materials for recycling and proper disposal according to established protocols and environmental guidelinesApply and maintain food safety best practices relevant to United Arab Emirates regulations and organizational standardsOrganize, clean, and properly store kitchen materials, utensils, and equipment in designated locations for easy access and inventory managementSet up and break down dining areas by arranging and removing plates, cutlery, napkins, and transporting food containers to appropriate storage zonesFollow supervisory directives regarding selective waste collection and efficient water and energy consumption to support organizational environmental objectivesContribute actively to departmental goals by executing assigned tasks efficiently and aligning efforts with strategic and operational guidelinesParticipate in mandatory training and professional development programs to maintain and strengthen competencies required for the roleCollaborate with other departments to ensure operational continuity and provide support during peak service periods or special eventsPerform additional duties as assigned by management to support overall facility operations and organizational needsQualifications**Required Qualifications:**Physical ability to lift, carry, and move items regularly throughout the shiftStrong organizational and time management skillsAttention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standardsAbility to follow instructions and work independently as well as collaborativelyReliability and consistent punctualityBasic communication skills and willingness to work as part of a teamFlexibility with scheduling, including potential weekend and evening shiftsUnderstanding of basic food safety and sanitation principlesPreferred QualificationsOne year of prior experience in a steward, kitchen support, or food service roleFood safety or sanitation certificationExperience working in a hospitality or hotel environmentFamiliarity with commercial kitchen equipment and operationsKnowledge of waste management and recycling practicesExperience in a multicultural work environmentDomain ExpertiseFood service operations and kitchen protocolsHealth, safety, and sanitation compliance standardsEnvironmental sustainability practices in food service settingsAdditional InformationYour Team And Working EnvironmentIn 1-2 sentences, introduce the team, property or office environment in a way that reflects the cultureNote: Customization may be included for any specific local or legislative requirements, such as work permitsOur Commitment To Diversity & InclusionWe are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.
