Team members join a stable, long-standing company with a strong reputation in the local construction market.Role Description The Site Surveyor will perform daily on-site surveying activities to support construction, refurbishment, and renovation projects in Abu Dhabi. This full-time role includes conducting topographical and setting-out surveys, taking precise measurements, and preparing survey reports, drawings, and documentation. The Site Surveyor will collaborate closely with project engineers, site supervisors, and contractors to ensure that structures are built in accordance with design specifications and applicable standards. Responsibilities also include verifying levels and alignments, monitoring site progress, maintaining accurate records, and promptly highlighting any discrepancies or potential issues. This is an on-site role requiring regular visits across project locations in Abu Dhabi and active participation in site meetings and inspections.QualificationsTechnical surveying skills, including land and construction surveying, setting out, use of total station, GPS, and other surveying instruments.Ability to interpret construction drawings, site plans, and specifications, with strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.Competence in preparing survey reports, sketches, and digital records using relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, surveying software, MS Office).Knowledge of civil and structural construction practices, current codes of practice, and applicable industry standards.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills to identify discrepancies and support corrective actions on site.Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with engineers, site management, and external stakeholders.Ability to work on-site in varying environmental conditions, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple tasks.Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field; previous experience as a Site Surveyor in building or infrastructure projects is highly beneficial.Familiarity with Abu Dhabi or UAE construction regulations and local authority requirements is an advantage.
