Company DescriptionSay HELLO! for DUBAI have multiple Head Waiter and Head Waitress roles available with some of the most recognised names in luxury dining.JOB PAGE LINK:https://sayhellojobs.com/r/5d25052fae0ab642ce5df2ba5ba4d02f298f197f50cfcfecSay HELLO! is a video-first recruitment platform dedicated to connecting hospitality talent with leading employers across the Middle East.Focused on the full hiring journey, the platform transforms candidate discovery into streamlined screening, collaboration, interviewing, and hiring.Hospitality professionals can create a single profile and video to showcase their personality, experience, and passion, helping them stand out beyond a traditional CV.Role DescriptionThe Head Waiter / Head Waitress role at Say HELLO! partner venues in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is a full-time, on-site position overseeing the front-of-house service team.This role is responsible for supervising waitstaff, coordinating table service, and ensuring guests receive attentive, high-quality service throughout their dining experience.Daily tasks include managing reservations and seating plans, communicating with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely food and beverage delivery, and handling guest inquiries, feedback, and special requests.The position also involves training and mentoring team members, monitoring service standards, and supporting smooth shift operations, including opening and closing procedures.The Head Waiter / Head Waitress acts as a key point of contact between guests and management, helping maintain a welcoming, professional atmosphere in line with the venue’s hospitality standards.QualificationsStrong customer service skills, with a proven ability to create positive guest experiences and resolve issues professionally.Solid knowledge of food & beverage offerings, including menu items, specials, and pairing suggestions, to guide guests confidently.Hands-on experience in food service operations, such as table service, order coordination, and maintaining service flow.Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with guests, team members, and kitchen/bar staff.Basic cooking or food preparation understanding is beneficial for coordinating with the kitchen and explaining dishes accurately.Previous experience in a supervisory or senior waiter/waitress role within hospitality, preferably in high-volume or premium venues.Ability to lead and motivate a diverse service team, with strong organizational and time-management skills.Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required in a busy hospitality environment.Proficiency in English; additional languages commonly spoken in Dubai are an advantage.Relevant hospitality training or certification is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems and basic cash-handling procedures.
