Job SummarySEHA Clinics is seeking a qualified and experienced Specialist Physician in Urology to provide high-quality outpatient urological care.The successful candidate will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of patients with a wide range of urological conditions, while ensuring appropriate referral and coordination of care for patients requiring advanced investigations, procedures, or hospital-based surgical management.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide outpatient consultation, assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with urological conditions.Manage common urological conditions, including:Urinary tract infectionsKidney and urinary stonesBenign prostatic hyperplasia and other prostate disordersUrinary incontinenceHematuriaMale urinary and reproductive health conditionsLower urinary tract symptomsOther acute and chronic urological conditionsRequest and interpret appropriate laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic investigations.Develop individualized treatment and follow-up plans based on clinical findings and evidence-based practice.Perform outpatient urological procedures within the approved clinical scope and privileges.Identify patients requiring surgical or advanced specialist intervention and coordinate appropriate referral to designated SEHA hospitals.Provide preventive care, patient education, and counselling regarding urological health.Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record.Maintain continuity of care through appropriate follow-up and coordination with other specialties.Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education activities.Adhere to SEHA clinical policies, patient safety standards, infection prevention requirements, and professional guidelines.Qualifications & ExperienceMedical degree from a recognized medical school.Recognized postgraduate qualification or board certification in Urology.Completion of an accredited residency/specialist training program in Urology.Relevant post-specialization clinical experience appropriate for appointment at Specialist level.DOH Abu Dhabi license or eligibility as a Specialist in Urology.Strong experience in outpatient diagnosis and management of urological conditions.Experience within a clinic, ambulatory care, or hospital outpatient setting is preferred.
