Senior Engineer – Equipment PreservationWe are seeking an experienced Senior Preservation Engineer to lead and manage preservation activities for static and rotary equipment across project and site phases. The ideal candidate will ensure equipment integrity from receipt through installation and commissioning, in compliance with project specifications, OEM recommendations, and international standards.WHO WE ARETarget Engineering brings 50+ years of experience in EPC and industrial infrastructure. Join a business with deep technical roots, where your voice is heard, your impact is visible, and your career is part of a legacy of excellence.YOUR ROLEAs a Senior Engineer (Equipment Preservation) you will:Develop, implement, and maintain equipment preservation plans for static and rotary equipment.Ensure proper long-term and short-term preservation during storage, installation, and lay-up periods.Oversee preservation of equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, vessels, heat exchangers, piping, and packages.Coordinate material control activities, including receiving, inspection, storage, and tracking of preservation status.Supervise correct equipment handling, lifting, storage, and transportation to prevent damage.Conduct regular preservation inspections and audits; issue reports and corrective actions as required.Interface with Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, and Commissioning teams.Ensure compliance with OEM guidelines, project specifications, and industry standards.Support pre-commissioning and handover activities from a preservation perspective.WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FORExperienceMinimum 12+ years of relevant experience in equipment preservation within large industrial or EPC projectsProven experience in Static and rotary equipment preservationProven experience Material control and warehouse managementExperience in Equipment handling and site logisticsEducation / Training / CertificationsGraduate / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical EngineeringSkills/CompetenciesStrong expertise in preservation methodsSolid understanding of construction and commissioning interfacesFamiliarity with international standards and best practicesStrong documentation, coordination, and reporting skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a site-based environmentWHAT WE OFFERThe chance to contribute to some of UAE’s Oil and Gas EPC Mega projects.A collaborative, supportive environment that values innovation and excellence.Opportunities for professional growth and career progression.Competitive salary and benefits package.Ready to be part of our team?If you’re inspired by what you’ve read and believe you’re the right fit, we’d love to hear from you.
