Engineering ManagerRole PurposeLead the engineering function supporting aerospace manufacturing, with responsibility for manufacturing process development, industrialisation, optimisation, tooling, CNC programming, and production readiness.Key ResponsibilitiesLead multidisciplinary teams including process engineers, CNC programmers, technical SMEs, and tooling engineers.Develop and optimise manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, waste reduction, and product quality.Own manufacturing process definitions, control strategies, and technical standards.Ensure processes achieve capability, repeatability, and long-term stability.Oversee tooling and fixture design/development.Oversee CNC programming and optimisation for complex parts.Lead engineering activities for NPI, industrialisation, process qualification, and production readiness.Provide technical support to production and lead root-cause investigations.Apply SPC, trend monitoring, and data-driven process control.Ensure compliance with aerospace standards, regulations, and customer requirements.Drive implementation of AS13100 requirements.Act as technical authority for manufacturing process decisions affecting safety, quality, cost, and delivery.Drive Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, and engineering governance.Required Experience & QualificationsMinimum 10 years of manufacturing engineering experience in an industrial or aerospace environment.5–7 years in engineering leadership/management.Demonstrated aerospace manufacturing experience, preferably forging and/or machining of safety-critical components.Proven experience in:Manufacturing process development.Industrialisation.Tooling.CNC programming.Process optimisation.Root-cause investigations.Operational excellence.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline.Master’s degree preferred.Lean/Six Sigma certification and/or PMP strongly preferred.Strong knowledge of:Forging and machining.Tooling and fixture design.Process capability and SPC.CAD/CAM and CNC programming.AS9100, AS13100, and customer-specific aerospace standards.Strong multidisciplinary leadership and technical decision-making skills.Location: UAE
