Position Statement JOB DESCRIPTION The Sr RTR Specialist is responsible for providing support to hotels supported Finance Shared Service Centre (SSC).In particular, Month-end closing activity, Financial reporting activity, Balance Sheet reconciliation, Tax reporting preparation and Daily Cash journal.The role reports to the Record to Report Supervisor.ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary:What will I be doing?Take charge of specific month-end activity processesMaintain Fixed Cost Register and ensure that this is a full and accurate reflection of all contracts in placeMonthly Balance Sheet ReconciliationPreparation of the VAT reconciliation and VAT returnReview of the hotels P&L and preparation of adjustmentsPreparation of the hotel monthly financial reportsPrepare the Daily Cash journalAssist in preparation of documentation needed by any internal/external auditorOther tasks as required by business operationsQualificationsWhat are we looking for?The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalProactive and self-starter - willing to learn and ready to challenge the processAbility to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilitiesPossess the ability to analyse large amounts of data / information efficiently and accuratelyAbility to work cohesively with others, both in the office and remotely with hotel Team MembersAbility to learn and perform all essential job functions accurately and safely with minimal direct supervision, within initial training period after employee begins workStrong Accounting knowledgeStrong Excel knowledgeFinancial and DMS Systems knowledge and interest in learning new systems, in particular, knowledge of Navision and preferably Docuware.Required Qualifications Minimum Education: High school graduate Minimum Experience: 2 or more years as a General Accountant Hospitality Finance Experience About UsJoin an Award-Winning Workplace CultureAt Hilton, we don’t just deliver exceptional experiences for our guests—we build an exceptional workplace for the Team Members who make it all possible.
