Role DescriptionA Video Editor is responsible for editing and producing engaging video content for social media, marketing campaigns, websites, advertisements, and business communications.Key ResponsibilitiesEdit video content for social media, websites, and digital campaigns.Cut, trim, sequence, and enhance video footage.Add music, sound effects, transitions, subtitles, and graphics.Create short-form content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms.Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams.Produce promotional, corporate, product, and campaign videos.Perform basic color correction, audio editing, and visual enhancements.Create motion graphics and visual effects when required.Ensure content follows brand guidelines and visual standards.Organize video footage, project files, and digital assets.Review feedback and make revisions as required.Manage multiple video projects and meet deadlines.Stay updated on video editing trends and social media formats.Support product launches, promotions, and marketing activities.Ensure final videos are accurate, polished, and delivered on schedule.QualificationsDiploma or Bachelor’s degree in Video Production, Multimedia, Film, Media, Design, or a related field.Relevant experience in video editing and digital content production.Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.Good understanding of video formats, resolutions, codecs, and social media specifications.Knowledge of motion graphics, color correction, audio editing, and visual effects.Strong creative, visual, and storytelling skills.Excellent attention to detail and visual quality.Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Experience with social media and digital marketing content is advantageous.Basic knowledge of photography or graphic design is advantageous.Good file management and organizational skills.Professional, creative, reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented.
