Feel the extraordinary.We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Steward to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Steward, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout our kitchen areas, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for food preparation and service.Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, pots, and pans to maintain high hygiene standardsEnsure the cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, and workstationsOperate dishwashing machines and ensure their proper functioningCollect and remove trash and recycling materials from designated areasMaintain inventory of cleaning supplies and chemicals, reporting shortages as neededAssist kitchen and service staff with setup and breakdown of buffets or banquetsFollow hotel safety and sanitation policies, including proper chemical handlingSort, stack, and deliver clean dishes to appropriate storage areasHandle all equipment carefully to prevent breakage or damagePerform scheduled deep cleaning tasks, such as oven cleaning and grease trap maintenanceCollaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and maintain a clean work environmentQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious experience as a steward or dishwasher in a hotel or restaurant is advantageousBasic understanding of kitchen hygiene and sanitation standardsKnowledge of proper chemical handling and safety proceduresPhysical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periodsStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standardsExcellent teamwork skills with a positive attitudeGood communication skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidaysNot the right fit?
