Job PurposeResponsible for preparing accurate BOQs and cost estimates based on approved designs and project requirements, while supporting cost optimization and ensuring alignment with Americana standards.ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed BOQs based on Architectural, Interior Design and MEP drawings.Prepare high-level and detailed cost estimates for new stores, remodels and other projects.Review drawings, specifications and project requirements to ensure BOQ accuracy and completeness.Coordinate with Design, Construction and Real Estate teams to clarify scope and project requirements.Work with vendors and suppliers to validate pricing and obtain cost information when required.Identify and recommend value engineering opportunities to optimize project costs.Support cost evaluation and BOQ requirements for special and ad hoc projects.Ensure BOQs and estimates comply with Americana standards, specifications and local requirements.Maintain accurate cost data and support benchmarking across projects.Manage multiple BOQ requirements while meeting agreed project timelines.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.6–8 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, BOQ preparation and cost estimation.Experience in retail, F&B, hospitality or commercial projects would be an advantage.Experience preparing BOQs from Architectural and Interior Design drawings.Knowledge & SkillsKnowledge of Civil, Interior Design and MEP works and specifications.Ability to read and interpret Architectural, ID and MEP drawings.Experience in cost estimation, quantity take-offs and value engineering.Working knowledge of AutoCAD.Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office.Knowledge of relevant local authority requirements and specifications.Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within deadlines.
