Each Rixos property presents a unique experience inspired by local culture, global influences, and our Turkish heritage, all within a setting of unparalleled luxury.Job DescriptionThe Hostess is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming first impression by greeting and seating guests, managing restaurant reservations, and ensuring an organized flow of service. The role requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesWelcome guests warmly and escort them to their assigned tablesManage restaurant reservations, cancellations, table assignments, and special requestsMaintain accurate knowledge of restaurant layouts, operating hours, menus, promotions, and hotel servicesAnswer telephone enquiries professionally and according to service standardsMonitor guest flow and organize waiting lists during busy periodsAnticipate guest needs, respond promptly to enquiries, and assist with resolving concernsConduct table visits and coordinate with the team to ensure guest satisfactionMaintain a clean, organized, and well-presented hostess desk and dining areaSupport menu preparation, cashiering procedures, and restaurant operations when requiredWork closely with colleagues to deliver friendly, efficient, and professional serviceQualificationsMinimum of 1 year’s experience as a Hostess or in a similar food and beverage roleGood verbal communication skills in English, additional languages (Arabic, Russian) are an advantage. Strong guest service and interpersonal skillsPleasant, professional, and well-groomed appearanceBasic knowledge of food and beverage serviceBasic computer skillsAdditional InformationFlexible to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by operational needs. Able to manage busy service periods, waiting lists, reservations, and changing guest requirementsMaintains a professional appearance and high standards of personal hygieneDemonstrates teamwork, professionalism, and a warm, guest-focused approachCommitted to maintaining a clean, organized hostess area and following food safety, hygiene, and health and safety proceduresWilling to attend training and continuously develop knowledge of restaurant operations, hotel facilities, and service standards
